When God came down to earth to dwell among us, the Creation took notice. During this season in which it is customary to remember Christ’s Incarnation, we will look at how four different groups responded to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The stanzas of James Montgomery’s poem “Angels from the Realms of Glory” focus on the response of distinct groups to the birth of the Christ child among us: the Angels of Heaven, the Shepherds, the Magi from the Orient, and the faithful Saints at the Temple of God. The Scripture shows us that as each one considered the birth of the Messiah they were compelled to worship God. And that must be our response as well.
